Brigadier General Maharan Prosenfer, Financial Advisor to the Chief of Staff

Brigadier General Maharn Prosenfer enlisted to the IDF in 1985. During the Gulf War Brigadier General Prosenfer served as

  • The bureau chief of the assistant to the head of the Operations Branch
  • The first bureau chief of GOC Homefront Command with the founding of the command
  • The bureau chief of the head of the infantry corps headquarters.

Among his positions Brigadier General Prosenfer served as 

  • Head of the planning department at the Defense Ministry, and in a variety of roles in IDF's financial alignment as well as in the Defense Ministry.
  • Head of the infantry units' budget department at the Defense Ministry's budgets branch.

Brigadier General Prosenfer completed his bachelor's degree studies in economics and profession studies and a Master's degree in business management at Tel Aviv University.

Brigadier General Prosenfer is 41, and is married and father of three.
