The Israel Defense Forces (hereinafter: IDF) and the IDF Spokesperson's Unit, offers the information on this on-line site/internet site (hereinafter: the service) pursuant to the following terms. The term "User" as follows shall mean each person who establishes or accesses a connection to the service.
 
Copyright Laws
 
According to the Israeli Copyright Law and pursuant to international treaties, copyright in the office's publications, including those provided by the service, belong to the State of Israel, the Ministry of Defense and the IDF. These rights apply, inter alia, to text. Pictures, drawings, maps, audio tracts, video tracts, graphics and program applications (hereinafter: the protected material), unless stated explicitly that the copyright in the protected material belongs to another party.
 
User may make "fair use" of the protected material as set out under law.
 
Using materials from IDF Website requires permission from the IDF. Users are permitted to use materials that are displayed on this site, subject to the following conditions:
 
All content used must remain in its entirety, as it appears on the IDF Website, except for editorial changes for the purpose of formative adaptation to the publishing website. The use of the protected material may not include distortion, mutilation, modification, or any other derogatory act in relation to the protected material, that is prejudicial to the honor or reputation of the author or owner.
All published material must be explicitly attributed to the IDF Spokesperson unit and the IDF Website.

With regard to texts published on the IDF Website joined by the name of their author, those may only be published with the name of their author, as it appears on the IDF Website, in addition to the explicit attribution of the text to the IDF Spokesperson unit and the IDF Website as detailed above.
No protected material displayed on the IDF Website shall be attributed, explicitly or implicitly, to another person other than the IDF Spokesperson unit. It is clarified that this condition applies to any kind of material and any nature of attribution, inclusive of the display of pictures marked with the logo or the name of another website, and the display of texts joined by the name of another person.
Any material may only be published together with a link to the relevant page on the IDF Website.
 
The State of Israel, the Ministry of Defense or the IDF shall not be held responsible to other person's use of material owned by a third party. Any use of material before-mentioned which is displayed on the IDF Website must be lawful.
 
Liability of the IDF and liability of the State of Israel for the Veracity of the Content
 
The information on this website is gathered, organized and updated by the IDF Website editorial staff. The editorial staff operates at its utmost abilities in order to ensure that the information appearing on the website is updated and as verified as possible. It is nonetheless possible that incomprehensive or inaccurate information will appear on the IDF Website.
The State of Israel, the Ministry of Defense and the IDF may not be held responsible for mistakes or errors in the content published on the website, and/or for changes made in the published material by a third party copying from it.
 
The State of Israel, the Ministry of Defense and the IDF may not be held responsible for any damage cause to any person as a direct or indirect result of the use of contents appearing on a third party’s website.
 
Other Publications of the IDF and the State of Israel
 
In any case of contradiction and/or incompatibility of the material appearing on this website and the affixed of any statute or publication, including orders of the Supreme Command, orders of the General Staff and other general orders, in accordance to the Military Jurisdiction Act of 1955, and any other military order or instruction, will outlaw the statute or publication.
In any case of contradiction and/or incompatibility of the material appearing on this website and another official publication of the IDF, the IDF alone will decide which is considered correct.
