Renovation Plan for Eight Roads in the Judea and Samaria Region
13 August 2008 , 19:11
The Civil Administration has approved a plan by the USAID (The United States Agency for International Development) for the renovation and upgrading of 8 roads in the Judea and Samaria region at the cost of $33 million.

The IDF approved the plan understanding that it is a humanitarian act that will benefit the Palestinian population.

A number of the roads included in the plan are ones that pass in C territories, where the civil and security authority is Israeli. The renovation plan for roads passing in A and B territories did not require approval.

Several renovation works have begun on two roads, one leading from northern Samaria to Jericho and the second connecting Jericho and Ramallah.

The renovation work will be fully coordinated with the Civil Administration.
