A soldier was stabbed by a Palestinian terrorist at the Almog junction in the southern Jordan Valley, a short while ago.  The soldier sustained moderate wounds.

After stabbing the soldier, the Palestinian snatched the wounded soldier's weapon and fled the scene.  Police arrived and arrested the Palestinian nearby and retrieved the wounded soldier’s stolen weapon.

The wounded soldier was taken to hospital for medical treatment.  The terrorist is being held by the Israeli Police.
