The man was arrested in a checkpoint near Hervat J’ibara, South of Tulkarm, and his belongings were taken in to custody, including a pipe bomb, two fragmentation grenades, a 20 centimeter long knife, and ammunition for an M16 rifle. IDF Military Police forces at the checkpoint, discovered the weapons while investigating the Palestinian man. The Palestinian was taken for questioning by security forces. During the night, four wanted Palestinians were arrested during an IDF operation in the Judea and Samaria region. In Il’ar, southwest of Jenin, forces from the Kfir Brigade arrested two suspects. In the Kalandia, southeast of Ramallah, one suspect was arrested and in Kadura southwest of Hebron an additional suspect was arrested.
