Soldiers who refuse to participate in evacuation of Jewish settlement in Judea and Samaria region will be put on trial
On Monday morning (Nov. 16), during an evacuation of buildings in the illegal outpost Beit Hakerem, next to the Negohot community, a number of soldiers of the Kfir Brigade Nahshon Battalion disturbed the operation by raising political banners.
The evacuation of the buildings was carried out by Border Police forces in cooperation with the Civil Administration; the Nahshon Battalion participated in the operation by securing the general area. The soldiers were suspended immediately until the end of investigations, and are going to be put on trial on Monday afternoon (Nov. 16) in their Brigade.
The IDF wishes to emphasize that the actions of those soldiers are completely unacceptable and oppose the values of the IDF, and that any attempt to involve the IDF in political discourse is inappropriate.
