On Friday night (Oct. 2), IAF aircrafts targeted a building used for the production of weaponry in the area of Gaza City and two weapon smuggling tunnels in the southern Gaza Strip. Precise hitting of the targets was reported. The aircrafts returned safely to their bases.

The attack was carried out in response to Qassam rocket fire from the Gaza Strip into Israeli territory on the previous evening.

Throughout the past week, a number of weapon smuggling tunnels in the southern Gaza Strip were targeted by the IAF in response to several Qassam rockets and mortar shells fired at Israel.
