In the videos, Squadron 13 is seen boardng the ship and finding weapons destined to Hezbollah.
New videos released over the weekend by the Navy, show the extended search on the Iranian arms ship, Francop. In the video you can see combat soldiers from Squadron 13 boarding the ship. The crew on the ship fully cooperated and didn't resist. The videos were taken by the navy ship that stopped the "Francop". Meanwhile, soldiers returned to their ship to get cameras mounted on their helmets in order to film the inside.
In the videos, combat soldiers are scanning the containers on the ship and removing the polyethylene bags in an attempt to find weapons hidden behind them. Finally, the boxes of weapons were exposed. Following the discovery, suspicion arose that the ship might contain a large amount of weapons.
A stamp on one of the crates proves that the weapons come from the Revolutionary Guards of Iran.
Over the weekend, the Francop was released by the Israel Navy with its crew, since it was determined that the crew was not aware they were carrying weapons on the ship. The Francop arrived to its original destination in Lebanon, where it was scanned by a multinational UNIFIL force.
