During last week’s International Ilan Ramon Space Conference, Elbit Systems Ltd. presented its newest product: the Jupiter space camera. The Jupiter is currently in its final stages of development and the company is planning on installing the new system on the Israeli OptSat 3000 satellite. During the conference, a number of space related developments including additional space cameras, advanced sensors and satellite communications devices were presented, impressing the civilian and military guests.

In addition, Elbit Systems Ltd. presented its new military Satellite Communication on the Move (SOTM) development, which allows high-speed broadband transfer of data, in accordance with the continuous and growing need in the field of modern warfare for interactive multimedia through satellites. This technology, which has already proven itself on the civilian market, provides an extension of the Elbit communication systems already in military use.
