The IDF Intelligence Corps is opening its gates to the public for the first time on Thursday, May 8th in celebration of Israel's 60th Independence Day.
Civilians will be able to enter a classified intelligence training base in Glilot to enjoy viewing an exhibition organized by the Intelligence Corps.
The exhibition will display weapons used by Palestinian terrorists in tunnels to show the public what the IDF copes with. Additionally, they will show weapons used by the Hezbollah terror organization during the Second Lebanon War, including anti-tank missiles, sniper rifles, long range cameras, rocket launchers, Sagger missiles, and other weapons.
There will be various exhibits set up to explain the Corp's roles and responsibilities. The exhibition will be open to the public on Thursday, May 8th from 10:00-16:00. Entrance is free to all Israeli civilians.
